As a watershed ecologist, Krista is interested in the connections between water, fire, and people. Her passion is empowering communities to manage natural resources by connecting society with science. She has put scientific tools into thousands of new hands, developed novel ecological monitoring technology, and created innovative channels to share knowledge.
